Nature - Maple Craze

This is my latest project painting. It is a close-up (observational) view of a Maple leaf with water droplets. It is now at the beginning stage of forming and shaping. And i look forward to the complete piece. Maple Leaf - yet another nature's beautiful creation. :)

A repeated order from one of my fantastic client - Appreciation Gift.

Family theme was chosen. I liked the way this caricature turned out in vibrancy!

These 2 are repeated orders as well from my fantastic buddy client as Birthday Gifts.

Golf theme was chosen for the lady above as  was known that it is her current interest. Love the way she turned out. Comical yet like a pro! The family one is done with a travelling theme. Egypt was chosen and i specially loved the background setting.

Live Caricature

It was really great and am grateful to be at the NUS Year-End Light Up Celebration to do them live caricatures. We had really great fun and i have to thank them all for their patience for waiting. It's a fruitful day having the chance to meet fantastic people! :)

THE KOI FISH - is believed to be very powerful symbol of good luck, abundance and prosperity. Apart from their natural beauty, they signifies strong friendship, love and loyalty; carrying with it traits of masculinity, strength, courage and individualism. They symbolises success and achievements. With water as a universal undertone of purification and circulation, the two combined forced are able to attract high energy and manifest in forms of prosperity of all kinds in our lives.

This is a relatively small piece just 8 x 8" and also my Koi Project #1 piece. The attempt to paint this was fun and full of challenge. The freedom and swiftness of the species inspire me greatly.
