THE KOI FISH - is believed to be very powerful symbol of good luck, abundance and prosperity. Apart from their natural beauty, they signifies strong friendship, love and loyalty; carrying with it traits of masculinity, strength, courage and individualism. They symbolises success and achievements. With water as a universal undertone of purification and circulation, the two combined forced are able to attract high energy and manifest in forms of prosperity of all kinds in our lives.
This is a relatively small piece just 8 x 8" and also my Koi Project #1 piece. The attempt to paint this was fun and full of challenge. The freedom and swiftness of the species inspire me greatly.
